An Oxfordshire Garden

I haven’t been very good at keeping up with my posts over the summer – so I’m going to cheat somewhat and rewind back to late July when we visited a beautiful hotel in Oxfordshire to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was lovely, the food sublime (as it should be given the chef was Raymond Blanc) but really the gardens outshone everything else – the best bit being the vegetable garden, the neat rows of organic fruit, vegetables and just about every herb you care to imagine all carefully tended and nurtured, we had the nicest time wandering through the gardens in the early evening sun..
